07 Aug Helping to get a health and sports centre off the ground

We have provided financial support, by way of capital donation and short term loan funding, to the Hawke’s Bay Community Fitness Centre Trust (HBCFCT). This was to facilitate the fundraising campaign for the proposed new health and sports centre to be built at the Hawke’s Bay Regional Sports Park. The construction of this facility will enable the HBCFCT to embark on its proposed Schools Healthy Lifestyles programme and undertake obesity related research within the community. This long term vision to understand and improve child health in the region sits well with our vision of a healthier Hawke’s Bay.
